Composition

Clear polyurethane backing film; Hydrophilic foam pad; Soft silicone adhesive.

Characteristics and Benefits

  • Hydrophilic foam pad effectively and quickly absorbs liquid.
  • Transparent polyurethane backing film serves as a barrier against external contamination, reducing the risk of infection, but is highly breathable and allows visibility of fluids in the wound.
  • It is waterproof and can be used in the shower.
  • The soft silicone adhesive bonds gently, but securely, and can be worn for up to 7 days.
  • Soft silicone reduces the incidence of epidermal sloughing.
  • Effectively manages exudate in post-operative wounds.
  • Highly flexible, even over joints, allowing patient mobilisation.
